SLED is investigating two separate shootings at South Carolina State University.
A lockdown was issued on campus Saturday night. Police say 19-year-old Jaliyah Butler was killed in one incident, and a man was taken to the hospital with injuries in a separate shooting. SLED arrested an 18-year-old in connection with one of the shootings, charging him with pointing and presenting a firearm at a person and carrying a weapon on school property.
