They’re back on top...the Gamecock women's basketball squad, who wrapped up last year’s abbreviated season as the nation’s number one ranked team, earned the top spot in the AP preseason poll for the first time in program history. The Gamecocks are set to open the season on November 25, at Colonial Life Arena against the College of Charleston.
