(Columbia, SC) -- State lawmakers are pushing through a liquor liability law. The state House unanimously passed a bill yesterday which cracks down on businesses serving intoxicated customers and bolsters punishments for a DUI. House Speaker Murrell Smith said afterwards that liquor liability is becoming a hindrance on businesses in South Carolina. The measure passed unanimously in the House.
