(Greenville County, SC) - The burn ban in the Palmetto State is now lifted in every county. The South Carolina Forestry Commission issued the ban March 21st and lifted it for most counties on Monday. The burn ban remained in place for Greenville, Horry, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg counties until Wednesday at noon. Authorities say the ban was lifted because of improving weather conditions and progress made in fighting two wildfires.
