(Blythewood, SC) - An investigation is underway after some concerning items- including a notebook with threatening details in it- were found on a student in Blythewood. The Richland County Sheriff's Department says a metal detector went off when the student entered Westwood High School on Monday. School officials and police found the notebook, along with several homemade items that could have been used as weapons. Any charges or disciplinary action against the student have not been made public at this time.
